698.2 Miles ..... Finally sub 2000!!

An other windy night coming up and what did I find?
This cabin.... the angels were smiling!

Had it all to myself..
(except for mini mouse and company)

'spitfire' and 'flyby' treated to tailgate hospitality...
Hotdogs...Pork&Beans.....Buns.....Beer...Wine.....
& a trip into town to the Post Office!

End of the road for now... Kennedy Meadows!
Snow ahead and most people are bailing
Will leapfrog past the Sierras and return later.

We had all the luck with snakes... in 550 miles Darrell saw none

In approx 20 miles we saw four or five

The windy Mojave has an incredible array of wind turbines!!
This was just one row of hundreds
The PCT winds right through the middle of them!

And then we went to 'Six flags - Magic Mountain'

We though we were going to do this ride ...'The Viper'

Accidentally got in the wrong line...
Ended up doing the Meanest..Baddest ride of all!
The...'X2'

This one!! .....the  X2

Made the PNE wooden roller coaster feel like a ferris wheel!
But ... surprisingly ...we managed to keep our composure!
