Hey Darrell, sounds like you are having quite the adventure. 700 miles, my feet hurt just thinking about it!! I think we will be walking the picket line very soon here. Be careful and don't step on any of those snakes, but if you do and you manage to win the battle I could use a pair of snake skin boots! Keep safe and keep on trekking.

ReplyDeleteThose strange red flowers are called Snow Flowers. They often start showing up at the snow line as the snow melts back although they are also found after the snow melts a bit also. Always a treat to come across in the mountains. (I met Larry at Ash Camp and he turned me onto your blog)
